MY TURN!!!!!

It has been 19 years and I still have not achieved the glory which I seek.
I have been through the hardships, the headaches and felt as if I was stranded on a beach.
Everyday I rise, I thank God for awakening me
I ask God to take me,
I then question myself and start to wonder will my turn ever be taking.
Will I ever be on the long end of the handle and not on the sideline of the field.
I long for success.
I live for success.
I thrive for success.
I wait for my turn so I can show the world what I am made of.
I wait for my turn so I can prove that I am more than your thoughts of me.
I wait for my turn to inspire those who also wait.
But soon waiting leaves the list of options and taking becomes more sensible.
My turn doesn't seem to be coming fast enough so the spirit of taking what I believe I deserve is starting to take over.
I long for success.
I live for success.
I thrive for succes.
I can't wait until it's my turn.
